A messy girl’s welcome aka: health and wellness for the chronically overwhelmed but incredibly hot
I’ve tried everything except the healthy stuff.
Like, I knew I should care about my body. I just didn’t…. Well at least not in the way that makes you wake up early and stretch and drink lemon water before checking your phone. I was too busy being tired or romantically spiraling or eating ramen for dinner while texting people I don’t even like. You get it.
Wellness felt like something other girls did. Girls with color-coded planners and a relationship with their Pilates instructors. Girls who journal every morning and know what magnesium actually does. I thought taking care of myself would make me boring. Like, if I started meditating and meal prepping, would I still be fun? Would I still wanna binge Love island in one sitting?
But here’s the thing: my body started catching up to my chaos. And not in a cute way. The brain fog. The weird aches. The why-am-I-always-tired even when I’m doing nothing. Somewhere along the way, “ignoring it” stopped working. So now I’m here… Late, dramatic, and ready to be well.
Taking care of yourself isn’t just hot. It’s literally survival. And the more you understand why things actually work like, why sleep is non-negotiable or what protein does for your mood the easier it is to care. You don’t have to change overnight. But you do have to show up.
This is our soft start. No routines that take 3 hours. No guilt-tripping. Just little shifts, some science, and a lot of grace!
